I’m Bjørn Are Evjen: designer, artist, and partner at Overhaus Design Studio. For more than two decades, I’ve moved between design, art, music, and teaching, always chasing the same thing: creative energy that helps people live and work boldly.

I work as a designer but live deeply immersed in art and music. I have five kids and a big pink house that’s an ongoing art project in itself. I believe real aesthetics grow from substance, from values, culture, and lived experience. For me, that means a deep connection to rock’n’roll culture, aesthetics and philosophy. It’s not only the main inspiration for my art but has also shaped how I live, work, and create.
